I am suspending my criticism of CNN for the time-being. The network’s coverage of Haiti tragedy displays the resources that made Ted’s toy a brand name in television. I will be interested to see the ratings for January. Anyone who cares about comprehensive coverage of an unfolding even such as this tragedy knows that CNN will always beat the competition. Even the fools who believe Fox is “fair and balanced” peek at CNN for coverage. But as always, the network will return to the humdrum of paid political pundits pontificating endlessly about what might have been, what should have been, and what will be–predictions that are more often wrong than correct.
